Speaker Nancy Pelosi formally launched an impeachment inquiry against President Trump over the phone call with the president of Ukraine, where he is accused of seeking help to “look into” former Vice President Joe Biden and his son. Pelosi has called on six house committees to investigate. Firm partner David Coale says one committee could develop political charges, which then could be considered by the House. “The committee would come down with a handful of specific articles that it believes should be presented to the Senate for trial and then present those to the full House for an up down vote by a majority.”
