David Coale Interviewed on WBAP Radio Morning News on Coronavirus Employment Concerns

Amid the coronavirus outbreak, what can companies legally require employees to do? During the WBAP Morning News radio show, LPHS David Coale discussed what businesses can and cannot do, especially if an employer forces an employee to work from the office.

“You do have some legal rights there,” said Mr. Coale. “An employer cannot force you to work in a dangerous or unsafe place, particularly if you have some kind of condition that makes it unusually dangerous for you. That said, the remedy may be a long way down the line. It’s not like you can blow the whistle and have somebody show up. So, it’s a tough spot.”
