KLIF & WBAP Radio Talks to David Coale on Regulating Social Media Companies

President Trump has signed an executive order that limits social media companies’ liability protections if they censor content. The firm’s David Coale explains to the KLIF Morning News team what the executive order means.

“It’s a little bit of kicking the can down the road. The president has identified a problem with how he sees these social media companies handling commentary about posts such as his own that has gotten attention recently. There is not much he can do legally, so he has asked several different federal agencies to investigate and come back with solutions, investigate potential new rules, and somewhere down the road that may lead to some new regulations.”
